A Bad Dark Knight Review (No!) From a Crazy Adam West (Phew)
Sorry all, I gotta link this one, it’s just darned funny.
Adam West has seen the latest in the Christopher Nolan Batman franchise, and he says he likes his sillier TV show better. Reportedly he even managed to say it with a straight face. So we make our own comparison of the two franchises.

SproutCore is but one complete, pure JavaScript framework for building web-based applications. In developing its presentation app called Slides, 280 North wanted to make creating web apps as easy as creating desktop apps in Cocoa. So, the company did the logical thing: ported Cocoa to JavaScript.

Here’s a very personal OMG moment… most even remotely “in the know” Sci-Fi geek-chic types are probably well aware that Joss Whedon (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly/Serenity fame) has been working on a new show to air on the Fox network called Dollhouse. This is very good news, since it’s been made plainly clear that geeks around the nation do indeed like good sci-fi, that they will emphatically support it (even when it’s unfairly cancelled after a slurry of network exec slip-ups that killed the show), and that Joss Whedon knows how to do the job right.
Well, after a 14-episode run of Firefly, which still remains at the front page of Hulu’s most favored television series, even after being cancelled for 7 years now, Whedon fans have been left to wonder if the creator of silly, over-the-top science fiction with a heart (something I like to call “SFWAH!”…. okay, not really in public) will be left shorted again by Fox’s ongoing penchant for shooting its own original series’ futures in their own respective feet, believing that The Simpsons will somehow survive as the network’s One Ring to Rule them All for the next 20 years (unlikely).
Seems however that Whedon himself has smartened up, as he has just released the trailer to his new online video show: “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog“! The show is an absolute ringer for the online Whedon fan community, as the show will be starring Neil Patrick Harris (yeah, that’s right, Doogie Howser) as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion (of Firefly) as Captain Hammer, and The Guild’s own uber-hot super geek Felecia Day as Penny.
How can this possibly fail? Well, hopefully Joss has a source of revenue attached to the project… but other than that, HOW can this fail? Be sure to let all your fellow geeky friends know to check out the Dr. Horrible’s site, become a Facebook Fan, and perhaps point them in the direction of ForeverSingh.com for anything they might be missing in the realm of geeky media. I could use some more readers.
Check the trailer out below, y’all, and peeceowt.
